In conclusion, it is possible that Dante dictated most, if not all, of the Comedia to his trusted amanuensis: his sons. In addition, some of Dante's passages on the composition of poems in the vernacular are examined. Although no autographs of Dante are preserved, unlike those of Francesco Petrarch and Giovanni Boccaccio, it is nevertheless possible to understand what handwriting he used, at least for his letters. ![]() The way Dante "wrote" it is described in the first miniatures of the Divine Comedy. But how did he conceive it, create it, elaborate it? By writing it or by dictating it? Several topics are addressed to answer this question. Dante is the author of the Divine Comedy. ![]()
